Thanks so much mark that sorts everything out pipe wise.

I changed the belt today hoping that would help but to t didn't really. My last ditch effort Is a new spark plug and new rollers to see if this helps.

It's annoying cause the bike runs kinda well but it feels more like a 50cc instead of a hundred. It's missing some top end and I can't work out why.

Sorry 'bout b......g it up a bit,was travelling in a motor at time of posting, word of advice - 3492 manual while quite thick and giving alot of info across the Piaggio range,is just that - not a whole lot specific for each bike .swhy I bunged you some pics.

Lol it's funny cause today I tried a new belt, new clutch, new rollers, re adjusted the valves again, cleaned the sparkplug then replaced the spark plug. The rollers are 6grams which I'm not sure about I think heavier ones might help with top end speed but not sure. I've got a feelings no this could be part of the problem. Otherwise I think the piston and rings might have had it but I can't find a new piston set for the 100 anywhere. Including eBay.

I'm considering putting the original 50 engine back in, I started re building it today.

Have you tried researching Fly 100 parts.
Only popped on for a sec.(AJ Sutton,c/o Piaggio spares) - pulled up a barrell & piston quite easily.;).

you will never guess what mark, I finally took the bike apart to look at the piston and rings and man was I surprised when looking at me was a 50cc piston.

so I bought a second hand 100cc engine to put in my 50 zip. got the engine in which kinda looks stupid cause of the big back wheel and front little wheel. bought everything for the 100 engine including airbox carb and exhaust and it has a 50cc piston and barrel in. I can't believe it cause the engine is bigger then the old one yet is basically a 50 anyway.

I think I'm going to order a piston, barrel and valves for the 100 and get it running as a proper 100 although tempted to sell it as a good running slightly silly looking 50.

Found on one of my previous 50's,that a thinner tyre on front is good for direction &wider rear is good for footprint.;).

If your prospective buyer had an option to convert it back to original, with parts supplied, your selling price might be a bit more justified,as is - would tech.be considered a 'project'.;)
