Help with aerox speedo?

My aerox speedo seems to be very un reliable! When i accelerate it will stay on 0 and then jolt up to 20mph and then to 40mph and then i can clearly feel the bike accelerating more and then it will just flick past the 50mark? And the otherday i was doing around 50 and braked quite hard to around 30mph and my speedo said i was doing like 3mph? Is it a sticky cable maybe? I have no experience in this! Thankyou

 

Try a new speedo drive unit...mine played up til i got a new one...

are you sure the cable is connected properly both ends

 

yes i think so, I will double check on the morning but i think it is

 

if all the cables are alright theres only two things it can be which is the speedo or the speedo drive

 

Ahh okay thanks i will check and hope its just cable then, If not im debating about getting digital speedo, I have the bars and brakes just not the speedo haha

Yeah, one of those mate... my speedo did what yours does...once i changed the speedo drive, it worked perfectly

Get some Koso's or Stage6 clocks, theyre only 75/80 quid lol.... guess thats still a bit much for clocks,,,but still

 

A question i do have is i have a 03 aerox, How can i fit a rev gauge on it? I see them on youtube but like how? haha
