could you plug the guitar streight into the mic socket on the pc?

 

hmm duno cause i would need my amp woudnt i?? wait i think i can... on my amp i have a socket that says.... headphone/direct out.... could i plug that into my pc some how?

 

yup. then you would have to listen to what you wer playing through computer speakers i think but the recording would probably be better if you got levels right
