Im going to join the band wagon and say.... bollocks if polini can pull 32 bhp out of a 94cc then a 172cc should be able to pull nearly double that just a point to show here it is theoretically possible just no one has done it... yet and also if you were to remove the front panel you would have less drag.

ok so if TF make 8000 bhp from a hemi engine does that mean that according to you all chrystler hemis should be running 8000 HP too? (thats 8000 hp for 8liters or rougly 1 hp per cc)

172 kits are basically just sports kits though. If you get something good like a Fabrizi kit you can have that sort of power

yeah and probably change the port profiles and a whole load more development within the fuel and ignition system... how much is a fabrizi supposed to put out?

Yeah the difference between a 210 and a 172 is basically the difference between an mhr rep and a big evo its in a different class to say the least. They put out around 35hp (with a bit of room for extra port work if i remember rightly) so around 90 real speed out of the box. Still a bit slower than some of the 172s on gumtree and that apparently tho

BHP is the key, the Bugatti vyron makes 1001 bhp, it uses 250 bhp to get to 200 mph then the rest of the 750 bhp to get it to 250 mph, experiential is the word. My 26 hp PSN motor in my typhoon at santa pod did 75 mph in road trim, that was flat out head down "are we at the finish line yet", 100 mph my arse! 12 bhp as in a std typhoon or runner equates to 62 mph or there abouts.

My mates 70cc runner beats my dads WRX scooby off the line but as soon as the scooby changes from 1st to 2nd the ped is left for dead :) and a scoobys first gear is really short lol

Because you don't exactly get much wind resistance on a dyno

Nope, all that's proving is that people don't read the original post

I had a Piaggio zip SP, I had:
    PM tuning 70cc Kit
    Standard Carb, Airbox
    Stage 6 Pipe
    Malossi Multivar
and apparently that pulled 77mph... To what i was told by the previous owner.
    I think that is bollocks..

Now ive got my Aerox again...
    Yasuni Carrera C16
    Athena HP
    Athena Belt
    Polini 6 speed variator
    4.9g rollers
    Dellorto 21mm Carb
    Polini Filter
    Top Racing Crank
    Induction Manifold and PREMIX FTW!
I dont even think my aerox is good on top end dont think it pulls 70?
