I’m in the middle of restoring a (y)registered Gilera Runner sp50cc for some one and wanted to ask if any one knows if you can pre mix the oil and petrol ok or weather the oil pump feeds the crank bearings! as well as the oil line that gos to the carb like on the Suzuki’s? Or it just feeds to the carb like on the Minarelli engines

    Thank you.....

You could pre-mix but the std system work's perfect, it lubes the bearings / piston no problem.

Thanks! It doesn't have a separate feed for the crank or any thing like that?

I appreciate they work well but it’s the age of the bike/pump which is the concern

Fit a new pump, the mist of oil entering the engine lubricates everything !

The oil and fuel Both enter the carb before its misted in to the engine so it’s no difrent in that respect if you premix or not!...what I need to know is if there Is a separate oil feed for the crank/bearing

If any one knows that would be great thanks....

    No separate feed to crank/bearings.
