Gilera VX - Headlamp Adjustment Screw.

Just passed MOT, but for the past few years been advised the headlamp beam is aiming high.

I'd have thought (after removing the front central panel) turning the hex clockwise would lower it as it's located at the top. So the further I screw it in it should push it towards the ground.

However, from reading everywhere else it seems that to lower most beams you unscrew the bolt anti-clockwise.

I know it's a simple enough task to perform, but would like to know the correct method.

Likely anti clockwise but no harm in trying both
