Hi im looking for some advice on smoothing off the front panels where the indicators are fitted. reason being is both my front panels have the lugs missing so id like to get them filled and use handle bar co0ver idicators or fit aftermarket flush ones instead.

i have seen it done on bikes but wouldn't know where to start?

would it be a good idea to glue the old lens in place to get the shape then filler over the panel and smooth to get a good look?

any help, pics or advice much appreciated
