gilera 2T 172 in a 4T vx frame possible?

hi apologies if this has already been asked
im new to the site

is it possible to put a 2T gilera runner engine, in a 4T vx gilera runner frame
if so what mods are needed?
i have both frames here already
the 2T frame mount for the center stand has bad rust which will fail a MOT

is it a case of just swapping the swing arm
mounts?
any input will be greatly appreciated

I believe the frames are essentially the same so it should be theoretically possible but I wouldn't like to attempt it myself, especially with the rust problem
