    Hello,

This may sound very suspicious but anyway...

I recently fitted a new body kit on my Gilera Runner and forgot to put in the lock for the seat that the key goes into. Now my seat is locked and i need to get into it somehow. Has anyone with a Runner solved this problem before?

    Look forward to your response

To take the panel off you need to get to the screws that are inside the seat so I can't do that which is annoying. I've tried hittign the seat like in the guide sugested but it doesnt seem to come open. Is there any other way i can get it open.

Thanks for the suggestions so far

Its saves writing if you take a second to look up at the screen, notice that capslock is on, then take it off

is it new shape or old shape, if its old shape pull it up from above the lock and hit the back forward with your other hand

It's the old shape and i know there is a guide but it didn't seem to work on my bike. So I was wondering if there were any other ways round it. I appreciate the help ive been given so far but comments like that can go a miss.

    Thanks

this is common knowledge to any runner owner.. so the fool that leaves anything valuable in his seat bucket is the one to blame.. or gilera for making the thing so badly.. LOL

Except you have to delete the caps, you cant change them to lower case.....

    57 keys and a mouse click vs 21 keys.......FAIL ;)
