i suppose he's used to it with the racing, felt nervous to me after the rvf, which is so heavy and planted it just seems to crush any road imperfections and turn.

best place i've found is http://www.the-image-works.co.uk/ they've even got an example of your bike they've done. i was charged £80 for a full set of rs decals, perfect accuracy. worth a go. original mille can is one of the biggest i've seen on a standard bike. what year is it? i'm sure they started using bigger exhaust valves in 02-03

01, just seen :emb: whats going on with the rd? is it a ypvs? need one in summer

worth doing, 916 forks seem de-riguer, standard are too soft, new shock needed, pipes are off the shelf gp style pipes. only other thing is that the radiator is very close to the front wheel with the 350 in. still worth doing though.
my 257 has zero provisions for road use :(

if your boring and dont want to look at your bike apart from riding it and dont expect alo of power go for something like a 4t 125

2 strokes need a little more maintaining but believe me, are twice the fun and get you 2wice as much street cred and blow small cars around towns and villages.

get a tzr125 eithier 4dl or a brit one, dt125 (all years are good), tdr125

just get something japanese saty away from european geared shit, youll soon be sitting in your own tears, your bike in a million bits and no money!

street cred? on a small bike pretending to be a big bike? never... any power ranger sunday biker will roll his eyes at anything under 600cc.. there FUCKING high mantenance and last about 1/10th of the time.. i love em, but gave up on road 125 smokers a long time ago.. for a good reason, they blow up too much.

lol , something thats £15 to tax a year 300 quid for insurance, makes the boys cars look like toys, fits through tiny gaps in traffic and light enough to pick up and pops the wheel up past a larger bike easily
    pretty cool in my opinion

just dont touch anything from europe and you cant go far rong,

Put a CG engine in an RS.

Mate of mine used to make pretty good trail bikes with racing frames and road engines. Like IT frame and DT engines. Nice and light, loads of ground clearance but reliable enough to use during the week.

I had a go on one of these on tuesday and it seemed a nice bike to me for a 125 it certainly did not look like one it was massive but suited to my 6foot 2 frame perfectly. Bearing in mind I have never drove a geared bike before it was a piece of piss to drive for such a big bike in terms of mass I stalled once but after that I found it very easy to drive. Also for such a big bike it seemed quite nice in the corners the brakes were very good and it did not seem that slow either seemed quicker than my 125 sr anway despite it being a 4t. Only downside is just seen the price and they are expensive but you may be able to pick up one used I dont no lol. Also had a go on a yamaha ybr 125 and did not like it all may have been slightly faster but just seemed to be poorly made and have shit brakes also was a 09 plate and bike already had problems. Personally from what I have heard and rode would go for a honda cbr if you are small or look at the bike I drove if you are a bigger chap lol:)

    Re:

Whos trying to impress power rangers that know nothing about bikes.... anyone fanatic about bikes will know the score.....

Also I dont see 125 smokers as 'pretending to be big bikes' unless they have l-plates and are being riden by a greasy streak of piss...
Definatly not for everyday use/dependability once they get old though.....baj is on the right lines, bulletproof engine in a sick chassis, perhaps not a cg one though

    Re:

ye a typh..... no FUCKIN WAY will an rs pop up faster than a 600... fuck me your lucky to get 2 good wheely's out of one befor they shread the gearbox... as for crossers/other assortted 125's leaving 600's in stock form? go away

only thing thas gonna even stand a chance against a well ridden big bike (or even a badly ridden one) is an auto...
