Got 3 point's for having a old L Plate on my bike that had been on there in all sorts of weather and it was cracked etc and where wind is hitting it constantly it has broken bits off.

This was at 7am in the morning and i offered to go into the petrol garage over road to buy new ones but he refused to let me.

sucks but mine come on in 2 weeks

 

you committed an offence, you weren't riding in accordance with your license, you cut it down, which is also against the law, by doing all these things your took it upon yourself and suffered the concequences, the police are not out to get YOU, they are out to get EVERYONE get used to it :rofl:

 

my mate got pulled up couple of days ago and they for no front l plate they give him a 60 pound fin and 3 points but sum of the police say tghat u dont need a front l plate bullshit i hate the old bill

 

its not hard to have L plates on though is it.

 

can some one tell me if it is illagal to have a cut down L plate i didnt realise this. since i have had one on the front for months with just a 1cm boarder around the L

I just have a red L on my bike with none on the white around it lols. Never been pulled over by the and i have been on my ped for 12 months now .

Shame though, they could of gave you a warning or just the fine. The 3 points is what will fuck the most and they stay on a lisence for like 3/4 years.
