Hi , I’ve just replaced my front tyre but when the wheel was off someone pressed my break , I’ve managed to get the front wheel back on , but it is rubbing pretty bad , any ideas ?
Realease the brake fluid reservoir cap push the pistons back, put the lid back on the reservoir pump the brake once or twice before you ride it
G Clamps sometimes help, I've used these with a spanner across the pistons before on my truck to push the pistons back in evenly.
Right , I have a problem , the screw on the reservoir has been rounded off , any suggestions , tips on how I can get it off?
Done now, also seems that the problem may have been that I am missing a spacer on the left hand side , not sure where it has dissapeered too. But i think this is what is making my disc scratch against the calliper .
Flat head screw driver and a hammer, slight taps try to create a crease and knock it around . It loosened it enough that my screwdriver eventually worked . Still a mystery where my spacer went
