Forks Spray Job

Hey Guys, Ive Had recommendations from a few people saying i should spray my forks black. I had a think and now can understand it would look good! but i need some help.

When Spraying Forks i know i should take then full out clean them up all grease ect off it sand down a bit, should i primer it? what paint would be best?

im a full noob at painting shit but i think primer is a must

 

thanks mate my bikes been at shop for past 2 days getting set up on dyno should get back tomorrow so gunna see how it is then save bit of money and spray engine aluminium and forks and wheels black

yep bike kinda looks odd anyways at moment half engine sprayed aluminium colour, 1 wheel silver 1 black and forks silver gunna do all mainly black appart from engine

 

yeah silver forks look shit mate

 

agreeed aint done many visuals to bike really, just put few stickers on, sprayed indicators and that about it for now going to do the above and planning on doing unique custom spray paint eventually

 

use some photoshop and create stuff untill you find what suits your needs

 

I tend to use paint and i had idea of doing an england style spray paint as euro/world cup going to be around soon

will do pal thinking of matrix style that will be hard but will look very effective main colour green and black

im doing forks black but i want to spray my panels eventually as get bored of one colour what you think about Matrix theme spray paint?
