Its always shocking to read about stuff like this. Living in cumbria, things like this are very rare and the worst it ever gets is usually some drunk getting the end of their nose bitten off in a brawl outside a pub.

I cant begin to understand to what you and your family must be going through and I know that nothing anyone says can really help. I lost my best friend in tragic circumstances several years ago and I found comfort in being around my friends as much as I could.

The only true healer is time and a good amount of cathartic release. Vent your frustration, dont bottle it up and try your hardest to share your grief with your family, they are going to need to lean on you as much as you need to lean on them. Remember that you are not alone in this.

My condolances and my heart goes out to you and yours. By all accounts your bro was a stand-up bloke who didnt deserve what happend.
