They should be stricter yes to stop the lazy f******s but like me id be worse off and in debt if I took a low paid job now Being on just the benefits is hard enough when youve got everything to pay for
Just realized I didn't reply to this Il get on to them Monday try get registered for when I come off sick you won't be paying for me
Mate, you are so on the f.....g ball with that one- most deffo, Having a barrel of skills on stuff doing for years an not having those little f. bits of paper with which to sell yourself, esp. when you get a little older.is a really dire situation, Got on jsa a while back after being outta work for some time cause of injuries/long term effects, an after going through all the usual bullshit useless initial gap filler schemes, things start or can start to progress quite nicely. ., most approach being on benefits either from a 'lifestyle' or out of neccesity deal- alot think jsa is bad / an whilst i'm not saying it's brilliant,it can be a good resource that give you access to some wonderful retraining opportunities,as it gives you access to funding and courses/professional solid working class skillsets that can sort you out a decent, viable living. .
Those hitting employers an give us a job (an maybe they did, could see you were a prospect),are so f.gone.sadly .
Ive had some good courses like I said earlier they dont advertise them but its courses that really benefit you and would normally cost a fair few quid
Got a multipage doc to study for mine ( 400 ?'s), bleeding 5 year old coulda done it, how many categories of fire ext.did ya put down ?
Did all my FLT courses off my advisor, not the sort of stuff advertised, good living, plenty of agency ad ons in spare time.
Was with a pukka school up in n.london, they actually had an employment agency,on the 2nd floor of the building.... Day I passed my test, had a job BEFORE I even walked out the door, result the rest is history. .
Go for reach+ counterbalance if you can, most employers prefer the duo together.if you can get it,put major +'s on your prospects, and cscs is getting to be a standard now don't forget
Did my cscs off a customer services qualifacation, which in itself was a + ,like killing 2 birds with one stone, little extra to add on to how you sell(sic).make yourself more attractive to an employer, esp.if in relation to being a player in different parts of the food chain in any organisation. .
Didn't even get asked that haha, it was like bill isn't qualified to do this but has been asked by another worker to do it, what should he do haha. Gotta admit there was a few I didn't know but we covered a lot at college because we do health and safety there
It is a relitively easy test,as it's mostly based upon common-sense.!., course it's always sensible to have a decco at any info they give you beforehand. ., my heads-up from my trainer was X2:- #1.clue-up on extinguishers. #2.you're go to man for ANYTHING! in relation to your job = Supervisor. ., P.s., X5 categories, don't forget Halon (green). .
one of the stupidest questions i was asked when redoing my first aid was - there are two people who have been crushed by loaded pallets, one is breathing and making noise, the other is not, which one should you try to help first and why? my answer to the woman doing the course - go to the one making noise, if the other one isnt breathing hes clearly dead, the one making more noise is obviously alive and wants some morphine. at this point the whole room started laughing.
That's a course I should get involved in.!., tendency as involved in a few accidents to think a bit clued up,best too be safe then sorry. , I'd still recce the quiet one 1st. .
