My Suzuki CS50 1982 with 35,000 miles, it has got a new cylinder it runs more power than before, I want to know which exhaust is running a more efficient? First picture is my current exhaust and the second picture my spare CS50 1983. My mate reckon second picture gives out more bhp than the current.
What top speed are you getting with each pipe? Which one's noisier? Loud pipes can give the impression they're giving out more power but its' not always the case bud.
The current (first picture) is more noise with top speed of 32.4mph (Update: Just try the second exhaust it sound a very very quite) it must be restricted airflow but the torque feel bit more grunt than the first. try out with my GPS 31.8mph Lol! not much difference!
If I buy the performance exhaust look like a balloon I don't know what is called would this gain more bhp than the standard or just waste of money? it is newer to me because I don't normally modified but I am quite interest try to modified my old scooter rather buy brand new.
Neither are "performance" exhausts... I had one of these bikes many years ago. Well a CL50, then a CS80 motor (3 speed instead of 2) I got a pipe from a friend that was a hacked and welded pipe from a Honda vision or something. Good for 35mph with no other modifications at all.
