    i no it sounds stupid but have you made sure sparkplugs tight i once walked a bike home only to find it was a loose sparkplug either that or the dodgy piston you got :whistle:

    same happened to me thought rings had gone with no comp, got dad to come 30 miles with van, then got home realised plug popped out and was away first try :doh: :doh: :doh:

    It was the variator in the end just sorting it out now, dont have a clue why it was hissing tho :confused:

    how does youre variator make a hissing sound with smoke and no compression lol? do you not listen to anything in college

    lol shut up i think it was da variator grinding on the casing which i think i thought was da hissing, smoke was from freshly painted exhaust and no compression was the kickstart wasnt pushing the variator round .
