Traffic lights have become more important to me,since starting to ride scooters - namely cause their fairly quick off the mark.!!.,
Was brought up to think, that Red means stop,Orange/Amber means caution and Green means.....go,
recently been on this licence preservation course, and they tryed their damndest to instill in me,that Orange/Amber means stop as well...which frankly I think's a load of Bu.....t.,what's everyone's take?.,i for one think it's perfectly acceptable to blast through an Orange/Amber proviso you read road, timing and conditions correctly an you've got your bloody eyes open.mk.
from how i understand:
you may proceed through an amber light if stopping may cause an accident or obstruction.
i used to work in a pub right on a 4 way traffic light intersection (the ship inn, swansea) anyway... nearly every shift there was either an accident or a near accident, how to people get lights so wrong, red means stop green means go.... i mean its not rocket science!
there isnt any traffic lights where i live now.

'there isn't any traffic lights where I live now'........
means no cameras,no fines,no .....fk it,i hate you now!!.
Can understand the principle by which speed cameras were created and for what use,but puzzled how some bods have'nt banded together to take some of these suckers out, purely down to the way alot of authorities indoubtably use them for revenue generation.!.

Ditto'ish, taken outta my front window...4-way junction with a pub on the corner,we've had some doozy's/come accidents.!. -
Even had a few cars crash into the side of the house.!!!!.,the look on the copper's face, when they ring my buzzer/say 03-04:00 in the morning,i pop my head out, look him blandly in the face and say,i'll give him 7/10 for that one.....is f.PRICELESS..
Where that red car is,that's the worst light...people coming from outer,into/towards the city.
I've seen buses hit by cars going so fast, they've lifted them up an moved them a couple of feet....then it's like rats deserting a sinking ship,1 usually hobbles off one way, other(s) hobble/limp/crawl t'other.
