Courtesy bike provided pulled over for it being stolen.

Just keep bugging her, let her know when you got enough money you'll buy your own and she can't do nothing about that.

I'd have contacted insurance company though and said she made a mistake and we want the bike back just to piss her off.

Even speak to the Driver of the 4x4 and tell him! If nice enough, he could offer to come round/call and have a word with her to explain it was totally his fault.
