Clearly totally unsuitable for road riding really and service intervals that would put a 125cc 2t MX bike to shame.

If you want something more road oreintated then go for a ktm640 IMO; more off road then a wr400 (pre titanium valves are better AFAIK) or a ktm525exc. If you want to go mental then get a sxv550, ktm380 or cr500 in SM trim.

Not that I know of. When I went with the gherkinator he wanted the sxv750 or w.e it is, and the bloke in bike shop said that there aint any restrictor kits for them.... yet.

There's no specific way by law in which you need to restrict a bike, a throttle stop will do. My friend FI zx6r B1h was restricted by Kawasaki by means of a throttle stop.

    Just to clarify this shit.

    The restrictor kits.

Fi International have to provide it to be legal in this shitty country.

You PAY for the paper, not the kit.
The labour is usually a sting too.

But hey, you CAN restrict anything.
Don't know why you'd want to.

Restrictors live in teh sock drawer thanks.

i wouldnt have been bothered with the restricters on the ninja if it would have been up to me but the pesky insurance poeple needed proof or they wouldnt insure me!! :wallbash:

so i had to pay best part of 300 quid for four washers and a shitty piece of paper!! :wallbash:
( which the washers accidently fell out a week later whilst i was cleaning the carbs! ;) :D shoulda left them in though....woulda probs still had my license still! :( :( )

my mate had a ninja, took restrictors out, dropped his bike so it went in for repair, his old man let him take his gsxr 1000 out, he went lakeside on a friday night with bareee cars, managed to overtake a unmarked audi A3 police car at 70 in a 40 limit...OOOps
twat wernt insured on it either. That'll be a £105 recovery fee please sir, oh and your license gone aswell as you wer caught speeding a week earlier lolololololololol

When your 17 and got your test you can ride a 1300cc Hyabusa but you need to restrict it to 33BHP. So it's probably better to leave a high powered bike until you can legally ride without restrictions. *Might be different down England but thats a Scottish law.*

Its around 60 quid, but the training is about 100 a day, and most people will have 2/3 days training, so it can easily come to 400 all in, mine did. (although I took it 3 times :emb: )
