Would air lock cause compression and a pop from my exhaust and wouldn't the air release after idling and reving for while?. how would you get rid of air lock?

air lock forms in the pump/ filter what you do is when bike is idling you give the fuel pump a tap or two to help release any air. you also give the fuel filter a tap or two to help airbullbles move up and through pipes to carb where they are ejected via the carb breather/overflow .

if its idling finr but bogging out at rpm thats nodoubt a fuel issue , did you check carb bowl and blow through the the ports on carb. checked mainjet for blockage you could have still pulled through some crap from tank when you ran bone dry.

I'm booking it in to a garage. Changed Reeds, Jet, Plug (was black) .

The bike runs beautifully on idle and with myself off the bike. If I jump on give throttle after 10 seconds it dies out, comes back alive then dies. Its very odd.

I also checked vac tap and flushed fuel through a few times and their was lots of shit in the fuel.

Their is a weird rapid ticking sound coming from centre of bike. When I throttle it sounds like ticking, sparking sound.

Loads of power on stand still as well!
