I've been meaning to build some kind of rat chop for years now. This is only playing around so it might FAIL, but I got a pair of forks for a Suzuki Motocrosser and a frame for the same bike. Because the rake is pretty steep on a crosser, I've turned the fram upside down and fitted the forks the other way over to change the angle. I started cutting off the unwanted tubes to leave myself with the start of a frame. The plan is to mate the Slider frame and engine onto it. It's a shame to cut it but I can't sell it so I might as well get a bit of fun out of it. Also it's just passed an MoT so it won't need looking at for a while! Tested a Baotian Retro front light on it to see what it looks like
should be a good end product ....i personally think that light looks quite nice . keep us posted on what your going to do . good luck
totally old school, totally the best chop scooter possible.. just a shame to have all that space and no engine in there.. could run it like the derby (bang the engine in the centre, wack a sprocket in place of the rear disk and run a chain to the wheel.. sorted auto chain drive cant wait to see this one.. TOTALLY my cup of tea
ye... im awestruck such a sick idea to do an auto chop from a bike frame, never really thought about it tho. innovation means having a stupid idea and working on it till people like/agree with it.
i had difficulty imagining this so came up with this lol (yeh its crap but gives you a vague idea...) part of the frame thats been cut away, i flipped that to create the seat/shock mount, used a monkeybike seat and tank and slider engine/wheels :nerd: gonna be interesting thats for sure lol imp:
Get your self a Photobucket account. Then you can upload pics from your computer to an online photo album. From there you can click on the option under each pic, and it automatically copies. Then pate it into here. You can even text pics into it from your mobile phone. It's easy
bottle of NOS in the middle where the engine used to go would look cool, or do a fuel tank like that chopper on tokyo drift...nos tank either side of the frame nice project thou looks mental
