So recently I brought a Chinese moped with only 10 miles on the clock engine, wheels, carb and every brand new almost It’s a huoniao HN125T-2 (can’t find it no where online) Engine code is 152QMI 125cc think it’s a long casing? When I put the vin into a vin check it says it’s a diaho When I got the bike it came with no front panels.. (abit odd for a brand new bike) I’ve done abit for research and noticed it’s a copy of a Taotao lancer 150 just from comparing panel etc Anyway I had no spark so I investigated and found no stator pick up then soon realised there’s not stator all together and I understand there’s at least 4 types of stators for gy6 engine 6pole 8pole 11pole 12pole Normal I just replace the old one but never took a fly wheel off to find no stator to replace? How many poles should I got for? some one please help before I waste time and money I’m wrong part
I think you're gonna have a mare getting that registered. Have you got the certificate of conformity? However, measure the fixing hole distance, measure the inside width and depth of the flywheel, check the stator connectors for type, colours, etc then go here and have a browse to see if you can match one up https://www.chinesemotorcyclepartsonline.co.uk/search.php?search=152qmi stator&pageno=1&pagesize=120
