    What vehicle is this ?

    zapm2400002004xyz.

I replaced the last three characters with XYZ as I am always told it is unsafe to show th full number..but can't really see why..

Logbook says it is a Gilera Runner 200 first reg in UK in 2003.

It is certainly not a 125..goes far too well for a 125
    it is a 4 stroke.

but on Fowlers parts it is not agreeing with this..that says chassis should start ZAPM24300...

going to go out soon a check the actually chassis number on the frame and motor...but rain a bit heavy at the moment.

Where will find chassis / engine number? can I see the without removing the body work?

It's quite easy to mistake a 0 for a 3, you need natural daylight.
Frame number will be either on the headstock downtube or under the right hand foot plate hanging on a tab underneath.
Engine number could either be on the side of the crank case halves or at the rear on the crank case.

OK, well this is from damp workshop and iphone

    Definitely ZAPM 24000
Got cylinder and head stamps too, but can't find engine serial
    Logbook says 03, Runner 200

but that does not tally with Chassis info on Fowler website

    Any one know? a 180 or a 200 ?

Looks like Fowler has got it wrong.

I went to the the dealer and put the serial in to their system
It is definitely a 2003 VXR 200, but Fowlers do not have this listed in their VIN number lists.

but now I have another issue..variator related....new thread to come
