Changed Clutch Pulley Torque Spring, now won't start

yesterday I had my variator, belt, rollers changed at my mates mechanic shop, bike was fine with no issues, started and rode like it did before.

next day I changed the clutch torque spring myself, took the clutch off and put the spring in for the pulley. then I went to start it with the electric starter, sounds normal, but wont actually start.

anything that I need to be checking? I looked at the variator and doesn't seem anything is wrong and the rollers are in fine. spring I changed was changed to the same brand and spring.
