    ryan grow up lol

and i declared it was me, seems to be the only thing to do

at least they do let people off

35mph is only a few mph ahead of the 10% limit they let you off.. i got caught at the bottom of a large dip in the road where you can pick up a few mph without noticing

Well you could go and say that your bike is restricted by law to 30 mph and that there is no possible way it can do 34.

And the speed was probably taken by a reflection of something by the camera..... i remember i thought i got cought speeding and was given this advice by someone.

ye my mates have all been done for speeding and aslong as your not going over 39 in a 30 they should legally give you the chance to do the speed awareness course. its worth it really. my mate on a speedfight did hes speed awareness cource and got another speeding ticket through the door the next day loooool. but hes doing another cource after christmas

Another person giving it the big 'un

quote me saying it wasnt my fault? i only said that i didnt deliberately speed, it caught me out at the bottom of the hill PICKING UP A FEW MPH

what i was saying before if you can read properly is that ryan said his comment in a way that i deliberately set out to speed, that i knew my speed, and that i didnt care about speed limits because he said 'dont speed'

how the fuck was i supposed to know that i gained a few mph down a dip in the road. im normally very cautious on the roads, getting caught at 40, yes, thats a lot over the 33mph allowance, but 35mph is not exactly hardcore speeding

exactly, but it was a van concealed behind a wall at the bottom of a hill that caught me out.. its caught my mum out as well doing 34mph down the same hill and shes one of the most cautious drivers on the road. she was so pissed off that she got 3 points.

apparently speed vans will disregard people doing around 35mph when they have found a lot of people doing 40 ish. Its when that van hasnt flashed many people that they start flashing people only a few mph over the limit.

i cant see how a mobile camera can give an exact speed? there are no marker lines, and its not like a gun because they stand in front of you with a gun.
So tbh if i wer you i'd argue the case.
Minor knows about cameras an shit. google it, theres a website sumwhere that tells you all the legal loopholes so may be worth a try

I was told this as well, i have just got to wait until i send that yellow letter back and then what fine they see fit.

If its 3 points and a £60 fine i will not be happy! Id prefer the speed course for £75 and no endorsements

    i beg your pardon?

giving it the big'un? you got caught doing 5mph over the speed limit, its your fault, nobody elses!

you know the dip is there, and you know you can increase speed, FUCKING BRAKE, as for your "if you can read" comment, think you need to practice what you preach, 30mph limit mate, not 35.

enjoy the 3 points, you deserve them, picking up speed on a hill, jesus, you crack me up.

I feel kinda sorry for him actually if there is ever a time i go out on my bike and don't speed, well :p

Now when my dad did his test, they told him it's 10%...+ 4mph, making it tolerable for 37 mph which would make you safe. Not sure how it stands now but thats what it was. I only know that after shitting it doing 40mph through a 30mph zone gatso...clock speed of course ;)

i didnt say 35 was the limit, i know that 33 is the allowance and im not saying its impossible to slow down on that hill, im saying that its POSSIBLE TO GAIN A FEW MPH WITHOUT INTENDING TO

I didnt speed diliberatey which you seem to think i am... i was following the flow of traffic and it caught me out.. i wasnt overtaking anyone at 40/50/60/70mph, i was a few mph over the allowance simply because i wasnt looking at my speedo every second to see if i am doing 30mph bang on all the time which you may or may not do.

my mum got caught doing 34mph down there, as did my mate on a ped. Another lad on a ped got caught doing 40mph down that road and 40 is quite a bit over the limit but 35 geez

thing is, if it was another day i wouldn't have got caught. obviuosly the people in the van needed 'x' amount of people caught in one day and they weren't finding enough people doing 40+ so they start catching people who are hardly over the 33mph allowance. in some cases, 1mph over. Im sure you know how easy it is to gain mph when in the flow of traffic.

Dude i do feel for ya but the fact is you were caught, and as said you were over the legal limit so while you argue over the forum it ain't gonna solve anything, try your luck in court but be prepared to get stung in the arse for it if you choose to. Good luck anyway
