Okay I will put the 70 jet back in and put the airbox on and see what it is like. I would let it idle for 10 mins and check the plug, but it doesn't idle... :(

Remember that the main jet only works from about 3/4 throttle upto fully open.

    Try changing the pilot jet.

Wipe the plug over, start it then let it idle until it cuts out. take it out and see if its a wet black. That way you will know your mixture is off

It normally looks like a wet brown color. And yeah it only coughs and run dog when I go over half throttle. So I'm thinking that I need to get a smaller jet and put my airbox on and that my air/fuel mixture is off and its running rich?

i know it shouldnt....but the main jet did effect my idle settings.....

when i put the airbox and smaller jet on, i had to richen the idle mixture...

at the moment my mixture is sitting a full turn out.

you might have to adjust the idle speed setting too....it might be trying to idle too low if its coughing and spluttering.

where is your mixture setting at?

lol that would be your problem , its going to be jetted for a 125 and ur running it on a 70 , normally jetted a bit rich as standard anyway , downjet and it will sort this out

21 and a box is useless to jet.. probably isnt jetting atall. 86 should run with no filter so try it without the box. if no go play with the transmission..

when are people gonna learn rollers are more tempremental than jets...

Its a 20.5mm with 86 jet w/ open filter and I have dropped the weights from 5.5g to 4g... I've dropped the weight as you have suggested. The only thing that I can think of is that it is running wayyyy to rich?

86 is too high for an airbox....

im running a 74 with a modded airbox......

try running the 86 with the air box removed... if its still bad, then rolllers are too heavy.....

if its ok, get a range of 70-80 jets, mod your airbox and whack it back on...

sounds like your running rich somewhere fouling the plug, or maybe its oil fouling ;)

It was off a Runner. What are the default settings for it all? As I can then "reset" it all and work from there??

As I have said, Its a 86 jet, No airbox, And 4g rollers, Surely I can't go any lower???

I think that the clip is too rich. Like the little white clip that is on the needle onside the carb, if you know what I am going on about? Other than that, The only other thing I can do is put my 12mm carb back on :msn1:

    where is the clip sitting?

what you probably want is the needle sitting as low as possible.... so the clip should be on the highest notch.
