i have just fitted the new spark plug ther seems to be no difference at all. i have ordered the rollers and will get back when i have fitted them.
do you think it is the cdi that is keeping the speed so low? should i get an unlimited one.
    thanks
    louis :D

ok thanks. but what do you think the problem is do you think it will just be the rollers then. because it has shot up to 50mph about 4 times since iv had it but i dont no why it isnt doing it all the time and its just staying at like 35.
    thanks,
    louis

get your rollers and jetting right as their are the most simple things to fix and most of the time the culprit for bad performance. so when they right can woek from their.

can tell with throttle response and engine noise but if not go on a drive find a road where you can get a nice long bit of time on full throttle at the end pull over take plug out this is called a plug-chop be carefull will be hot. the pug should be a chocolatey brownie colour. toward whiteish is lean and really dark is rich. may want to have a look at the guides on the homepage. really help setting up.

would need to get it up to normal working temp. and go down a decent road full throttle for a while then pull over and check straigh away.

it shouldnt be because i would recommend a 90 to 94 jet for your setup so a 96 wont be too big because the difference isnt massive.

with the open i would use 96 as a starting point

i dont have an open type thats what im trying to say so do you think this is why it is going slow because the jet is too big. i have the standard air filter with a new foam inside
    thanks

90 would be about right, 96 is too big. you may even want to go as far down as 88.

what will be the problem if the jet is too big. will this make it go slower or just damage the engine?
    thanks

i had a 72 standard in my aerox 54 plate. i put a 86 in and its fine.. LOL, i put a 100 jet in. it just over fuels and bogs down.. then u gotta clean filter, plug and off u go again.. so ther u go 2 big of a jet just makes it bog down..
