looks alright, but is FAR too busy... 2 tone is a hard thing to get right, especially wiht this many lines all over the place. would have been better straight orange or straight black with the accenting parts in 2 tone.... like this...
i imagine he wanted to do something custom, hence his whole bike and paint job, any average joe could do the one you just posted, too much orange on that. Im not licking arse, but breamys clearly looks better than that.
each to there own, the typh lines are what make a bike, putting 2 tone lines all over it takes away from that.... but ye, each to there own, you are licking arse tho...
haha eat shit, i have no reason to lick arse im sure if i worked hard enough i could achieve the same thing but not my kinda thing not a huge fan of typhs anyway so couldnt care less
It's not to my tastes either but that's good or it would look like mine. to me it shows that doing something different because it's different doesn't make it good. Personally I would have liked to see it with the browny redish panels that you got.
I'm ragging it everyday thru summer, then rebuilding the whole bike again come winter time i'll be changing the paint job & a few other bits, as the bikes nearly there, but not 100% how i want it Time ran out & i need it for rallys etc
do you have a custom rad in that front pan or what and was there a specific reason you didnt just put a lc 172 on rather then just making a lc head for an ac barrel? but i like it does look quite nice
very nice!! i like it, its diffrent! and dont look too over the top to me, but i wud of liked to of seen the other pannels on they are nice.
I'm a bugger for never being 100% happy with the work I've done - there's always something I could have done better etc - but I reckon you've done an awesome job mate and I'd be well happy with it. I'd not considered 2-tone before but I'd like to do pinstripes on my current bike if its not too much extra work. I'd be interested to know how you painted it - the stages involved etc. And also, was re-upholstering the seat expensive?
