Ah nice, i got a free moped last month, a rmx 50 with a shed load of parts, do you find the whole new owner avgift a total con? How does it cost them 500kr to print out 2 bits of paper!

i was on about the stuff you have to pay when you buy a new car/bike here (but yours is a veteran so dont think you pay it) omregisteringsavgift... its a total con, they charge between 500 and 1500nok to print out the registration papers with a new name on them...
i really dont like vegvesen can you tell? :p
but back to the bike, looks like you got a good amount of work there but not too much, ive seen worse for sure

The owner change is free, we did it on www.vegvesen.no.. omregistrering is also free because its a veteran :)

Its a lot to do. Im going to sand blast/glasblast almost everything. Frame, tank, fenders ++ and send it to painting, same color of course. I also going to buy orginal tank sticker and some other stuff from camino-parts.nl.

What do you guys recommend, powder coat or wet paint?

Powder coat for frame and wheels. It's tougher.
    2k paint for the rest.
    Clear laquer over the decals.

thats not bad at all, if it was in the uk you could poke fingers through the bodywork due to rust, its been fairly well looked after for a veteran moped.

these types of mopeds are usually found running on open farmers fields in the uk by younguns and left to rot away when they fail to work any more, all the fittings get bust off/ lost or trashed to .

I think there will be color difference if the frame is powder and tank is 2k. Tank and frame are very near each other.

More than likely there will be a difference, but a contrast in colours makes things stand out more. It doesn't have to be a dramatic change in colour to attract your eye to the detail.
I've found over the years that it's the subtle things that make a difference.
