the starting from cold is the auto choke playing up u had this problem with mine if i was you i would get a manual choke
I've changed the carb and auto choke for new ones. She now starts on first kick which us nice. Next challenge is to set the carb up properly.
Might wanna rrsearch jetting an set up dependant on if you've got any plans in mind for you exhaust + variator. .
If your exhaust is std.it will also more than likely be rrstricted via a sleeve or some type of plug!, Might eanna ask Mr. 93 'bout that as i'm running something much older an my thinking is you'll prob.have someat spot welded in place an not ad bad ad mine. .
Not sure if the exhaust is actually standard. It's got TT on it and it looks quite fat at the manifold end. Sounds quite loud.
If you have It off, Check the start of the downpipe there might be a spot welded plug there I think?, Take it the exhaust is'nt branded?
If it says tt,it could be a leo-vince, Not completely sure 'bout modern pipes but think some are specifically built with removeable restrictors for road / or / race use.
Should help with the jetting on carb.especially, might wanna check up on specs as when you buy a new pipe they always advise on jetting. Can't say more than much on that, sticking with much older 'peds myself for now!, think my present 'ped was built during the jurrasic era, you're lucky,if I wanted to get a spannie for either of mine they'd have to be hand built 1 - offs! ++£'s. .
The Leo Vince TT has a spot welded restriction cone in the manifold end might want to see if that's been removed... if someones fitted that exhaust the bike is almost certainly fully de-restricted... should do about 45 mph maybe 50 if your very light
haha there's certainly something wrong if your only getting 28 pal.... the exhaust is held on with two bolts on the side and two nuts on the cylinder, takes like 5 mins to get it off check the end for a restrictor...
That's like one cosmic f.....g post mate, 1st time i've heard on this forum someone who actually gave a s..t about being legal in that way, Frankly don't know whether to raise my hat to you or break out in tears. .
