    Use a good name 2t oil and keep a litre in the shed, the oil in the 2t tank will last 5-6 or more petrol fill up's but don't wait until the light comes on, just top up every other week or so.

    Just fill the oils tank up with decent 2t oil, it'll doi it's thing

    good to know, i was slightly put off 2 stroke because of the oil usage, but i think it should be ok

    oo and ive jsut looked in the bag of standard bits that i got with it, looks like the variator washer is in it :)

    ok, so a few pics of the rear end (now ive got round to editting the plates). look at the cracked rear light

    and this is the replacement (not got pics of it on. forgot before i covered it back up again)


    just need a front indicator lense (ped parts) and rear upper fairing (can wait) and if im being picky, foot area thingy. oh and a front brake handle


    looks like the bike has taken a serious right hand drop

    somehow managed to drag it up pendle hill today, 17mph was the slowest it saw

    did it go through its mot with tinted indicator lenses?

    i believe there a standard oem set. got one from pedparts (replacement oem) and it was tinted as well. i presume for the MOT as long as it lets enough light through and the light is orange (orange bulbs) then it should be fine.

    but i havent had an MOT with it yet, got that in august.


    any way, i seem to be getting around with it :) actually starting to enjoy it in the sun.
    sneaked up to this hall after work today. somebody came out and stood in the door way to watch me, so had to cut him out of the second pic :)

    righty, just given the leo vince a quick once over with a wire brush so see the extend of my problems
    2 long cracks and multiple pin holes, not sure its possible if worth it to weld up

    wouldnt say its worth saving but you can find them on ebay cheap enough

    ta, yeah its not looking like theres much point. i was trying to save it as its still jetted for it and its using too much fuel. plus the extra power would be useful, its woefully slow if you show it a hill
