i hear'd that wavey discs can interfere with the carburation, you have to upjet at least 8% for wavey discs.
i heard that if you have a malossi sticker on your bike for longer than 2 years the world will implode.
rite so has anyone got sum real advice to give lol baring in mind i dont want it to make the world implode and not too keen on rabbits jumping out my exhaust unless them living inside my engine made them mecanically advanced and so then they could give me the help i need arc: yeh really i just wanna kno wot jet sizes are best in the 17.5mm carb for a 70sport kit? thanks
if you are upgradeing to a 70cc then yes adding a bigger carb is beneficial.. you can use 17.5mm 19mm or 21mm its up to you really The really naughty 70 kits like the polini evo can use even bigger carbs!! when i fitted a 20.5mm (as good as 21mm) carb to my 70cc sport set up i came back from the test drive with a smile like a cheshire cat
Each engine is different no one can give you a jet size for your engine it just doesnt work like that You have to jet for your own engine
yeh but surely thers only so much difference ther can be in 2bikes with the same engine and set up, im just lookin for a range of sizes to try or just sumfin to start me off
cheers mate at the moment iv just got: a doppler s3r (derestricted) polini variator polini filter pm tuning high flow reed valve and the standard cylinder + standard 12mm carb (upjetted from 62 to 78) i want to get a PM Tuning X-Tech 70cc alloy cylinder kit which is rated at 13bhp at 10000rpm so im guessing its the equvilent of a sport kit and a 17.5mm carb off an older aerox. what can you tell me?
i can tell you something mate, pm x techs blow up! theyre not made for potting round town on lol their made for racing like 1 maybe 2 races if your lucky, they perform like fuck but dont last long at all a friend of mine went through 4 and another mate got through 5 its really not worth it, go with a polini/malossi sport kit mate hope this helps dec
didnt realise it was an aerox... no good talkin to me as ive never taken a spanner to a minerali engine
rite thanks mate, its described on the site 'for fast road scooters' so i was given the impression there pretty much for road use, i suppose if you know that many people that have had problems then its not a gd idea cheers
