sorry but this kid is doing my head in, not seen ONE positive comment anywhere from him. bloody glad hes not part of any of the clubs im associated with, if he was hed probably be in bloody intensive care by now for critiscing peoples bikes the way he does. got nothing nice to say about anyones bike then dont bloody say anything! then again hes probably some 13 year old kid sat at his computer dreaming about the day mummy will let him ride.

sorry but its annoying, sorry for hijacking thread btw.
you buy something that YOU like. thats YOURS. then some little kid comes along and criticises it. were here to share pictures and progress on our bikes, were here to talk about bikes/scooters not criticise it because some paint has faded or he doesnt like it. i mean ffs. its how old. a bit of faded paint is obviously going to be there. its a legendary bike, a beautiful bike and my unicorn bike.
if you dont have anything nice to say about someones bike then dont say anything.

If it's the plastics that have faded, then you can use Dylon fabric dye to infuse some more colour back into it. If yours has a plastic front mudguard, get some Dylon in red, boil enough water to completely cover the part and see if a hot Dylon bath will put some colour back into it.

Another old school trick and one that the computer hardware hackers use to change the colour of cases without using paint.

They are probably still being made as a cloned machine in India, South America or Asia somewhere, as they are the two-wheeled equivalent of the Land Rover in these places and usually have a family of five or six and their belongings hanging off it! :p

    Mate.,
You so hit the nail on the head with that one.!.,
gotten huuuge inspiration particularily from places like Asia, where they truly use these bikes-
    For all their worth!,
Found especially a few manufacturers specialise in particular parts or taking something like wheels or load bearing items,an actually improving on!,
    Like for instance wheels (a-m,supercub),
early days, but reckon getting alot long those routes.!. :) .
