oh dear ive been neglecting this havent it lol

yes bert has been sat in my back yard since november, the mx5 has gotten me through winter.
just coming to try and get it back on the road.
got it fired up, pretty easily once some fuel was in the carb (id drained it for winter)
blew the tyres up whilst it was warming up
popped it into gear (knew it would be a pig so had the bike propped up against a wall) and it spat its dummy out, kicked one of the chain tensioners out of its hole. and stalled
hammered that back into shape and popped it on.
took it onto back street to try and free up the rear brake (pretty much stuck on)
will move in first happil, but once its rolling cant change gear (wont neutral either)
rear brake is freeing up a touch

have found out a price for getting the chain and sprockets done and front brake shoes.
but now im beginning to think if its time to move on.
ive been thinking sell this, the mx5 and a spare set of wheels i have knocking about and i should be able to fund a newer 125, or (the one i fancy) a honda zoomer 50cc naked ped :)
