    haha cable ties ftw :)
front bumper on the car is pretty much held on with them, and the rear apron is fully held on with them

    Yep,
You can pretty much use 'em for anything!,
Hell, when I was younger heard stories of the scions of authority an public decency -
using them in place of handcuffs to tie up innocent (albeit slightly cookoo)
    Motorcyclists..................... .

rofl. ive seen them being used when lots of people need cuffing :) although they do use large scale ones :)

    on with the bike
she lives, put a couple quid of petrol in it, fired up straight away :)
havent let it warm up as theres no way of turning it off other than stalling it, and i aint trying that just yet. so just lifted the choke and it dies.

need to work out the wiring as no electrics are working, and need to wire up a proper kill switch

    Early days....... L.b....r,
    I've got a fair sorted 'ped an ins.£age wait ( waaaaaaghhh! ),
apart from my battery calling me a kn.b for trying to use the
starter (idle too long!),an my left indicator defunct ( effing bullett -
    connectors!),
Mines all ready, only have to breathe on the kick.mk. :) .

rofl, i got a quick insurance quote for the bike, its only slightly (about 20 quid) more than the ped.
can see me keeping bert and using it. my only concern is the fact its less practical than the ped :(

    Practical,user friendly............... Like duhhh!. :) .,
    I'll state categoricalky i'm more into geared,esp.small capacity 2t's,powerbands,etc.,
but i'll always keep a 'ped knocking about/forever!!,
My ins.has "flavour" at the 'mo cause of a ©15 year layoff + no ncb or riding history........,
an accident blackspot/we have 1-2 cars hit the side of the house per year! ,
It freaks the coppers out when they ring my buzzer to say there's a car stuck in the side
    of your house,
I come downstairs, have a gander an say to them (with a perfectly straight face), I give that
    one a 7.5 podsibly 8 out of 10. :D .,
My ins.last year for my vision after the layoff was £257.00,
But have a saved quote for £184.00 for melody,it'll come down with the ncb's/security +
    thinking of courses like IAM.mk. :) .

Possibly,as insurers base your quote on risk factors,
Seen the course spec.©£139.00 all in (bike hire,ins.,etc.),
    +also looking into 'approved'security products (locks+),but
    would not fit an immobiliser.mk.

Would say the only difference they would make is if they are on an approved list of your brokers and
most importantly you have the rrceipts!!!!!!,as your brokers could say even if you plonked them in front
of them, you coulda have borrowed thrm from elsewhere!,
    Gotta go,back on after 18:00,ciao.mk. :) .
