looks neat..if you get the barrel sorted its gonna be well easy to wire it up now you know where it all goes..so looks like your set for the mot then..so long as the other wires are wired in with a switch or able to be done on an off safely so it dont short or run the battery down or give you spark grief..the mot should be no probs..all the other stuff works good?

checked the horn, it works but changed tone with the lights going on and off, which could be a problem.
the other wires arent on a switch, so do run down the battery. but if you kick it on it runs the electrics and charges the battery up abit.

so ill take it for a quick run around my backstreet before hand to get the battery charged up abit, hopefully its just that the battery is flat with the horn. but meh

if you stick a bit of charge in it and it works then put another switch for ignition on it...sorted..or wire a double pole switch or relay to do the switching..do you understand wiring much?

im into hifi and all that valve stuff..love a nice sound system...if you wire in a dpdt switch you wont need a keyswitch..gotta do a sound system for my ped but wanna run it through my net book via a pimp my ride monitor and a good quality amp..the screen on this net book is fooked big time but its got a socket for a monitor..and what with all the internet sat/nav and shit...but i dunno wether it wouldnt be better to get a tab and do it on that.lot less hassle

    less hassle = better :)

i could just grab another switch and wire it up, but as the barrel is on its way, i may aswell run with that (unless it doesnt work)

well it looks like a cj/cb style switch proberly will fit.if it dont pan out, could get the honda version from a breakers or any switch that you can get a diagram for...would deffo put some quite pills in the tank and sort out the noise...dunno what the plod are like up your way but best not give the slags a reason to stop you.

well aint that a good feeling..whip the bars off(if you aint already) replace the bolt and do the chain and your sorted.that insurance thing happened to mark on here..he did a sorn notice or something like that and lost his no claims that he was about to get..insurance companies are a rip off..im gonna have to keep both mine running when i get the vision finished..its only £80 to insure it fully comp but the roma was £130 third party only with swintons cos bennetts dont insure that model.what with all the dvla shit...it made me have to buy a new frame just for the number and i got the roma for when i was rebuilding it to run around on...now thats costing me an arm and a leg to keep running...bloody chink bikes...why dont they learn from the japs..when you gonna do the nrg then??

you should get a good price for it if you can explain on ebay what it failed the mot on..ide expect youde get most if not all the £300 you say it cost yer..stick a few hundred as a reserve on it if you think its a good viable fix up and see how it goes..their quite popular peds
