Hey. I'm Tauri from Estonia. Today night is so boring ... and i decided to do topic about my project. My english is not so good .. some senteces may be like "WTF?!"
Last autumn i began to look for a new project for the winter, because life has showns that the winters are usually boring. At the first i did't know what brand scooter to buy .. but short time later i finally found and then decided to purchace scooter in Estonia which is made in Italy in 2001 - Benelli 491st.
This scooter was ideal to project. The engine was stock etc. Pictures what i made after purchase:
And as soon the snow came down i started my project. Now 5 month later project is almost done .. hard work are done and lot of has changed at the scooter.. :
* I bought new Minarelli empty engine block -
disc brake variant.
* After that i welding the frame to stronger
* Then I was built rear brake system to disc brake system -
Yamaha Aerox disc brake system.
* Front and rear brakes got new brake pads + i exhort the brakes.
* Totally new parts: racing airfilter, stock crankshaft, Stage6 Streetrace cylinder kit,
drive belt, red torque spring, red clutch springs, racing sparkblug,
spark plug cap, rear shock, intake manifold, reedblock, kickstart system,
ignition, CDI, generator, rollers etc.
* Then i changed crankshaft-, front wheel-, block-frame- and fork bearings.
* Aprilia front shocks
* New transmission oil
Something more but i don't remember anymore ..

OPTICAL
* Plastics are rebuilt and repainted and
now is black-blue color scheme.
* Aprilia 13" wheels
* Wheels, engine block + some parts repainted
* Blue handle bar
* Black handle bar clamp
* Foot boards
* IGM shock elevation
* Buzzetti
* Prestigio GPS
* Black cooling air scoop
* Polini stickers
* Blue silencer

But project is not ready .. there is still much work to do. I still build new front and rear lights. Next week i hope to get new 17.5 dollerto carb and carbon reeds. Then engine is done and finally i can ride and enjoy summer.. . In July or June are coming owersize and doppler or YSS diamond .. and few thoughts more. Project must be ready in July .. i hope ..
