Hello, I’ve got an Aprilia Sr 50, just fitted a polini sport 70cc kit, with an open air filter. Tried a 72 jet and was too boggy and seemed very sluggish and kept bogging out when getting to about 20mph, then tried a 68 jet and seems better but still sluggish, seems like it’s getting to much air so I put the standard airbox back on and seemed to be a lot better but I want to run it with the open air filter just don’t know how to get the ratio spot on, carb size is 17.5mm. Any help appreciated
Too much air can make it run too lean, is your spark plug a nice golden brown colour? (that reminds me of a good song...)
