    Hello everyone

I own a stock 99 Aprilia SR 125, it was stood for about 4/5 years after having an engine rebuild.

I've just redone my CBT and I'm loving riding it.

Now, I don't know much about the mechanical side of things so your advice and help is appreciated.

She's running good but seems to be leaking fuel from the rear of the airbox.

What steps should I take to resolve the issue? And is there a carb cleaning guide or the such I can follow?

Also are there any restrictiors that are factory installed that I can remove?

I want to keep her as factory as possible so I'm not going to up the cc etc now will I put a different exhaust on. (Although I'm after a stick clean exhaust if anyone has one laying about).

And one last question, are there any good guides for just servicing my SR (cleaning fuel filter etc etc).

    Kindest regards

Thank you for the welcome and the link.

Sadly theres no doc for an SR 125, unless the SR shares the same carb etc as the RS.

    Many thanks again :)

    Welcome

Very nice the first SR, rare now too!

Leaking fuel: most likely a crusty fuel pipe they go rock hard at that age

    Restrictions: there’s none

Fuel filter is in the tank it’ll be fine no need to clean

Leaking fuel is more likely to be the float.
Same engine as a gilera runner.
    It's a piaggio 2t 125 engine

There great I had a typhoon years back with the same engine, clocked over 30000 miles on it, very sort after. In some ways a lot of people prefer them to the liquid cooled runner version at least I do

Put a picture up of the bike
