aprilia sr 125 jetting

    looking for advice on jetting on a standard 125cc engine with a foam pod filter.i have a selection of jets but would rather start rich and work down as i heat seized my last cylinder riding with no airfilter

    Start big and work down, or the best bet is to put the std air box back on it !

    Put an airbox on it.
    If you are running anything less than a custom racing engine it's going to run best with an airbox

    no room for airbox i wont fit the panels on

    There should be. They make it with an airbox.

    its a scomadi 50cc converted to 125cc 2 stroke airbox would be too big panel wouldnt fit.ive fitted biggest jet ive got a 110 and will work down

    For the air cooled unit From past experience 100 with a k&n open air filter was my sweet spot. May not help you tho as there all individual
