You can remove the variator nut by holding the outer pulley with a pair of mole grips....but its a bodge, and theres a high risk of damaging the face of the pulley if you dont know what you are doing!! I wouldnt really recommend it :msn1: The clutch nut can be removed by gripping the bell with an oil filter strap, and the same can be done with the variator nut too but if the nut is very tight, or someones used loctite on it in the past, the only option will be a proper locking tool or the trusty impact gun
yeahh i think i saw that one, the paints all chipped on the rim aint it... kinda couldnt see the point of buying a wheel that needs spraying/powder coating because its a certain colour...if you get me!! The reason i havent got a red NRG rear wheel is because im holding out for a good condition one, finding one is harder than you think :tdwn: p.s if youve got a mint/near mint red disc nrg wheel, ive got money waiting
I bought a mint front one, a mint rear one will turn up one day... And i dont mind paying for the right wheel, I mean you buy a tatty one, then shell out for powder coating or painting, it dont work out any cheaper than paying extra for a mint one
