i was wondering tha black paint that is inside the the barrel is it a spacile paint i know it has to be a good tepmture paint so it doesnt flake off but just wondered has am about to paint mine ??? cheers
sorry i didnt explain that very well i ment inside the water chamber has i have taken mine apart and found that tit had black paint on that that had flaked off
painting a barrel black on the outside is a way of expelling more heat (actually keeps the barrel cooler) they dip them in paint befor machining them so it will have flakey paint on the inside.. its best to just leave it and paint the outside if you feel the need (just mask up the top botom and exhaust port befor you do)
