My runner kept burning the fuse because something was wrong with my stator. I replaced it with a ac stator (black pickup) and black cdi. The bike runs fine and I also want to keep this ignition because the rev limiter only works with this one. Is the performance really worse with this ignition and everything else stock? The bike accelerates fine to about 115kmh but then it feels like it cut out and it wont go more than 115. Is this because of the ignition or could it be because the compression is bad (i have an old piston and cylinder)
It will run better with an original stator/cdi as it has a different advance curve on the L/C, A/C is fixed.
