Trust ME, i do want a 70s kit, my dad wont let me though, and my dad will know because i wont be able to fit it myself, well with the help of you guys i will be, but i will be trying to budge my dad lol

if i did go for a 70's kit, i would need the kit, carb, crank (maybe) what else ?

On your bike you'd need...nothing! The carb is a 17.5mm isn't it, then it's a brand spanker so the crank will be fine for something like a polini sport, all it'll require are new rollers, springs and a small upjet ;)

    na you got a 12.5mm carb, 21mm with a polini sport/malossi sport/streetrace

    your sorted :p
your bikes brand new mate i really wouldnt worry about your crank tbh, people underestimate them, theyre a lot stronger than most people think.if you were worried about your dad, get the streetrace kit, will dick any polini sport/malossi sport ped, cheaper, stealthier, just as reliable.

it used to be so UN bait on mine, i used to pull the coppers over ;)

Best advice given, and 21mm Dell carb is better than a 17.5mm Gurtner by far. Forget transmission stuff past the rollers or springs as the power will make them issues go away ;)

Anyway, i will get round him eventually, i always do, need to save first so, if i get 70s kit im gonna keep my ZX and go for this

Polini Sport Cast Iron 70cc Kit, or the Stage 6 one Dec has since it has 49ccm on it lol about £125

21mm Dell carb (not sure of price someone guide me please ?)

    No crank. £0

    New Clutch £60 - £80

    Jets £10

    Rollers £15

and i think that should do me, dont you, if ive missed anything or if there is anything else worth sticking in let me know

    Thanks Guys

A malossi clutch should be no more than 60 quid. Theres delta clutchs brand new on ebay for about 45 quid.
Get urself a malossi belt, and different clutch spring cos urgenna want to set the bite up on it to suit the pipe and bore.
Other than that, save some more money and buy a pm 360 pipe, you will love it. i promise ;)
