hi guys. I’ve a 50 zip with a 70 polini kit , Leo vince exhaust , 5.1 gram rollers and been told by pedparts to use a 74 main jet. After fitting all these bits it’s just not running right. Seems to bog down etc also seemed to get hot. I’ve the standard head cover on atm should I remove this ? What’s standard airscrew setting or should it not be on standard ? Please help I can’t wven ride it atm. Oh has standard air box and carb. Cheers
I'd say try higher main jet - i've got a similar setup and it's running happily on 78 at the min. Always keep the plastic cylinder cover on, it's required for cooling. Standard carb setting is around 1.5 turns out from flush on air screw
