does that mean dont buy the kit or the head iv already won the barrel and i thought someone said it was DR not MHR unless there hte same :msn1:

 

nah he was just giving an example, just because it blows up on one person doesnt mean its gonna blow up on other people

DR kits are good, i have a DR for the Area.

Take your time fitting it.....And if you dont know what your doing get someone who does!!

up jet by roughly 8%....And turn your oil pump up or add a little extra oil to the petrol!!

And run it in properly....This has been covered many times before...so do a search if not sure on running in

 

already upjetted cos its already got a 70 kitt on it and me an my brother will be fitting it
and u cant do owt to the oil pumps on these lol

i got the kit today comes in a real nice box lol
the ports feel ruff as hell some are ok some are like theyve chewed them with there teeth lol
should i go round em with a file and wet and dry ?

 

yes...thats what i did with my polini 70 kit!!!

Dont go mad...just de-burr the port edges to aid gas flow and stop the rings snagging

 

yep ill do it when im fitting it probs this weekend just waiitng on my little end bearing now
from the looks of it and memory the ports look a little bigger than the ones on my 70 kitt iv got now

if thats the pipe youve got already then it"ll be ok...

The zx isnt the highest performing sports pipe...but it"ll do!!

 

no i havent got the pipe yet but mine at the min is the errrr standard look one by who i cant remeber the name of its got a little silver/white cover thing
but its not very pleasing to the eye and i think its resticting the performance
what ever i do i need cheap cheap cheap cos ill only be using the scooter on nights cos im at college all through the week and im not riding it there as its a very ruff area

 

The laser x pro produces the most top end horse power out of the sports pipes test...

And is cheaper than a zx if bought from scooter center

the only exhaust i would swop my x pro for is a C16 yasuni..if/when I get an MHR rep 70 kit!!!

 

well i fitted it all today then we get to the spark plug it has to be like double the length so i need abit of help with it lol
what spark plug do i need double the length of the br9 or whatever it is

well i finally got a spark plug (b8es or sumat like that)
its weird it sounds like a mix of a vespa thing and a crosser should be intresting when its ran in hehehehe
not as much compression as the other one although you still have to kick it in the mornings
should be all good

 

The compression should increase after the rings have bedded in

hiya right then thinking about getting an exhaust now but i want something from england and as cheap as possible 80 tops really would prefer to include postage
only thing iv seen on fleabay is theleo vince tt which says it for 70 cc aswell ?
