hi I have a 2005 NRG power dd lc it has a standard air filter a cheap sports exhaust And about 3 weeks ago the water pipe split and the bike overheated and ruined the top engine so decided to rebuild the top engine but with a 70cc kit but was told by a friend that I would need a new main jet for the carb but not sure what size to get he did say that I should of changed it after putting a sports exhaust on but I didn't I have removed the main needle and it's a 60 (dellorto phva 17.5mm carb) any help would be much appreciated Thanks Andrew
hi Thanks for that You said buy 60-80 so is that 60,61,62,63 etc or 60 62 64 etc Sorry new to all this Thanks again Andrew
It kinda depends on the box. Normally its in 2s. So like 62, 64 etc sometimes they are in 5s though. Have a look around and see. Im thinking 75 is a good starting point.
Thanks got that right now I have bought a Athena cdi but it has a black wire sticking out (see pictures) not like the one I took off please could you tell me how I connect the black wire please Thanks Andrew
