2 fast 4 race Mbk Rocket from the Dutchy

we day with a lot of fun, the owner of that machine is someone who you can't take serious
its not how i talk normally heheh
And on the movie isn't me you hear talkin, thats another friend of me ;P

 

Well boys, its been a while ago.
got busy with some other stuff.
Its now been a year since the cops got me with my aerox wich had a to high topspeed on their "topspeed dyno thing"
So i started a few weeks ago with the rebuild of a stock engine, so i can get my licensplate papers back.

I also bought a car and well also that costs a lot of money, it ain't getting be a stock car.
Bodywork is being done now, and also got in contact with someone who imports cars an parts to holland from japan and UK.

So i ordered a new engine out of Japan for the car, andd this also costs money
hope its soon here

But it doesn't mean i didn't bought parts for the rocket.
I bought some Fabrizi parts and build up an engine, wich is already sold to a guy, need to do the last things on the engine and then they come pick it up.

For the rocket, well, the 7T speed engine from malossi is gone
Butt some new stuff has come back for it.
polini big evo 96cc max tuned/ported.
Yess its 96cc, there is a T.C.R crank in it, wich hasn't a 44mm crank like the stock polini big evo crank but its a 45mm crank.
and that makes it 96cc.

so this engine will next to the 2fast engine running on my rocket.

mwoahh, fabrizi is funny stuff, but well, not interessting for me anymore i like more the bigger bores hahah

I aligned the case for the Mhr properly!

 

yeahh looks sweet man
nice work, but that stuff u used to fill up the engine, i have that stuf to.
but something in my brain doesn't make it feel nice to work with it.
I always have the fear of that it will come off.

So i preference to weld it up.
When you look at the right engine case you see a little hole, i just leave it with that.
becouse i ain't gonna weld it up again, and i'm not gonna put anything in.
This engine is for sale and i don't want have people comming back with a broken engine becouse some of that stuff came lose.

I'm not saying it does, one of the first engines i tuned i used the same stuff.
and it still runs with 20+ HP.
but for my feeling its just not ok
so those days i just weld it up

 

Well boys, its been a while now.
Been verry verry busy with my car and stuff from other people...

Becouse of that reason i don't have much time left for my own projects.
Currently doing a engineswap at the car from my best friend, and after his car its my turn for my car to get finished and swapped.

Butt i had today some time left for prepping and building the engine,
All the bearings from the gearing had been changed and that took some while.
Finally placing the crank, well there the problem started.

After sandblasing i didn't fixed the treats from the enginecase itself, something i normally always do direcly after getting the engine back from the sandblaster.

So i had to take the enginecases of again and "renew" the treats and clean them.
2nd turn to place the crank didn't worked out well and one of the bearings got fucked....
Nothing real bad happend only lost a few euro's for the bearings and that i have to do it over again another time when i have new crank bearings.

But i build up the engine as far as i could to make sure all the other parts fit well, becouse the intake is a little custom and i will be driving with a reedvalve from a AM6 minarelli engine becouse those are a lot larger than the reedvalves wich are normally placed in those engines.
and yeah i need that room otherwise i will have dead spaces and points in the intake with this big carburattor ( 34mm)

Hello mate, well the rocket project is on a hold sadly.
A few weeks ago i started with the build of the engine, but had some issues so i didn't finished it, i will start soon with rebuilding the engine becouse here in holland is in a few months a open drag cup for one day, an than there is german racewars where i proably will be too.

All of this only when the rocket is running well.
But becouse of the carproject from my mate with some troubles wich took wayyy more time then we thought my own project car got on a hold en also all my other projects.

besides this, i take most times all the chances to earn some extra money for building performance engines for customers here.
And a friend of me asked me to build his engine to, and he wants a rocket also with a minarelli horizontal ( aerox ) engine, sooo i have to weld his frame also.

the plan is that he and me will be together on the startline from those cups.

Butt like i sayd, the project is still going on, it only takes some time, i'm not in a hurry and money ain't a problem, its only my free time is just not enough

I hope i can make an update verry soon.
