Okay guys I want a geared 125 when I'm 17, 2 stroke of course. Now I've heard Mito's and RS' are meant to be like little Ducati's (so not the most reliable but real fun) but is this true? I've seen a Suzuki RG125 Wolf which looks really sweet and being a zook, should be reliable, but are they? the Yammy Dt125x looks just plain minted to me but cost shitloads, then again what doesn't? Looking to spend a grand, ohh and i'll be keeping the ped for college duties so something in need of some minor work won't be an issue. anything?
get a nsr imp: can keep up with rs's and mitos , got awesome brakes , reliable , decent enoguh fuel economy, and they look sexual , had mine for nearley 2onths of everyday use and its never skipped a beat
Well I know a few people with NSR's but the appeal of a Rg125 Wolf (unfaired version, link to one...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1994-SUZUKI-R...=39:1|66:2|65:7|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14) is so tempting as i love the streetfighter look naked bikes or supermoto's have
If i must be honest thats the best looking 125 i've seen for ages, kinda like a mini Speed Triple, ripe for customising
yeah streetfighter look is cool but not on a 125 2stroker needs to be atleast 600cc + beast to pull off the streetfighter look
It's a compromise at 125cc, streetfighter, superbike, supermoto, cruiser...nothing looks legit, but when you're 17 nothing can be hence why theres loads of chavs blatting about in 1.1 saxo's with 4 inch pipes, still fun though and that suzuki should be rapid
im selling my dt125r when i get a car this month £1,100, its quick and turns lots of heads
Very nice looking bikes, a mate has one and it looks sweet as, however personally i don't think it's quite what i like, i'd take the chuckability of a DT to the outright speed of an NSR/Mito/RS. Love it all the same though
a stock nsr will leave any dt for dead... there totally gutless by comparesen. as for gearing, oh my god
